Day 69 Mar 13 (sea day)

Pretty normal sea day. Everyone needs the time to recover from the Indian experience. After Tai Chi the Vantage discussion was naturally about India. It is amazing how many people had a different impression. Many focussed on the negative things and didn't see the many positive aspects of the city we saw. The next Indian port will be interesting. Some are even saying they'll stay on the ship. We'll see if they soften their feelings during the three sea days we have on the way. Some of our number have left the ship for an overland excursion which will take them across India to Agra (Taj Mahal) and then south to Mumbai. They will link up with us again in a few days. It will be interesting to hear their experiences. My second day in Mumbai will be an excursion to Agra and back in the same day (we will fly). I didn't want to spend the money or the time to take the overland.

Trivia was really tough today. We got 3/20 right the winners had only 6!
Took a nap after lunch, ran a couple of miles, worked on my journal.

After dinner a bunch of us went to the movie instead of the show. The movie was The Golden Compass. The show was another musical theater kind of guy. This one put on a Dean Martin show. I hear I made the right decision.
